Top talent gravitates to Tempe
Talent from every field gravitates towards Arizona State. On the baseball field, stars like Barry Bonds and Reggie Jackson once wore a Sun Devils uniform. In the field of theoretical physics ASU has world-renowned theoretical physicist and cosmologist, Lawrence Krauss – who chose Arizona State University for his School of Earth and Space Exploration. But it’s football season, so let’s talk about that field of expertise.
In early September a certain running back by the name of Kalen Ballage scored 8 touchdowns against Texas Tech – making him a name people won’t soon forget. But with a record of 5-3, Arizona State needs to remind themselves that those kinds of games aren’t a thing of the past. A handful of playmakers – including Kalen Ballage, are coming back next year. And ASU flipped a 4 star commitment to Oregon by landing the 7th ranked QB in the nation, Ryan Kelley – a duel threat quarterdeck that makes defenders shake in their boots.
When Jake Plumber led the Sun Devils to a Rose Bowl, he did so by running and passing to move the ball down field. I think Ryan Kelley has that type of talent and considering he’ll be joining a team with a player that has scored 8 touchdowns in a game – I think things are just heating up in Tempe.
