Gator’s D has Blades for teeth

Gainesville, FL —  If size and speed are the names of the game in the SEC then the Gators are certainly playing it right.  Florida’s top four recruits this year are all on defense and they are all big-time prospects.

Elijah Blades is a 6’3” lockdown defensive back who is taller than most of the receivers he covers.  While Blades is steadily forcing quarterbacks to hold onto the ball longer than they want to – monsters like 314 lbs DT, Fred Hansard and 6’4” DE, Zachary Carter will be in hot pursuit. That is a scary defense with unlimited potential.

We recently had the opportunity to interview Mr. Blades and talk to him about a range of topics from life to academics to football.
