Bloomington, IN — The Hoosiers continues to prepare for the war in the trenches on the defensive side of the ball with big recruits like Defensive Tackle Derrius Mullins and defensive end Britt Beery. Mullins stands 6’4” and weighs in at 340 lbs, while his fellow Indiana commit is an imposing 6’6” and 250 lbs. There’s not doubt that the Hoosiers have put a considerable amount of emphasis on making sure their defensive linemen are huge and ready to bully whoever gets in their way.
Britt is another homegrown Hoosier like Bryant Fitzgerald that’s looking forward to playing an instrumental role in the Indiana football revival and they are arriving in Bloomington just in time.
The Big 10 is the new SEC. They are by far the most competitive conference in college football and in order to compete with the likes of Michigan, Ohio State, Wisconsin and PSU they’re going to need hog mollies like Beery and Mullins to stand tall against these historically dominant programs. And I have a feeling they’re up for the challenge.
