Sooner Squad interviews

Norman, OK– Stoops did it again! He’s put together another elite recruiting class that’s going to be ready to dominate on day one.  It’s a great time to be an Oklahoma fan because every position that’s needed to build a well-rounded offensive attack is being filled by top-shelf talents, which is being dubbed – SoonerSquad17.

With Creed blocking at center, Kennedy at running back and Rambo at wide receiver, this freshman class is just as good as any other incoming class in the entire country.  And as luck would have it we were fortunate enough to interview all three of these big time recruits.

A: ” When it comes to football, I don’t really have a person who has been a huge influence for me. I come from a family of wrestlers, so no one really was big on football. It’s more of something I came to love by myself.”

Q: What made you choose Oklahoma over other schools?

A: “A big part of choosing Oklahoma for me was how much of a family environment it is. The whole coaching staff, team, and other commits accept you with open arms and treat you like family right away. Also, I grew up a huge OU fan and it was a dream of mine to play for OU since I was a little kid.”

Q:What do you plan on majoring in at Oklahoma in the fall?

A: “I plan on majoring in finance when I enroll this January.”

Q: When did you decide you wanted to graduate early and get started at Oklahoma in January?

A: “Last summer I went ahead and took an English class just in case I decided to and ended up wanting to graduate early.”

Vanderbilt, the “Ivy League” of the SEC wanted Creed to play Center for them, but he bleeds crimson and had to follow his heart to OU.

Q: What do you like to do in your free time?

A: “I really enjoy fishing, video games, and music.”
