4-star recruit Isaiah Bolden recently re-opened his college recruitment, making it the second time this year he’s de-committed to a school he was once intent on playing for. The Florida native was originally committed to FSU until he changed his mind and then moved on to the Oregon Ducks. The time spent in Eugene had a significant impact on Isaiah as he formed a bond with the defensive-minded, head coach Willie Taggart. Bolden knew he fit in where ever Taggart called the shots and as luck would have it, Taggart was offered the head coaching job at a school Bolden once regarded as his #1 school of interest, Florida State.
Is 4-star recruit Isaiah Bolden going to recommit to FSU?
Not surprisingly, once the news broke about Taggart taking the job in Tallahassee, Bolden announced he was decommitting to Oregon. Isaiah has made it clear with his words that he hasn’t made a decision about which school he’ll play for in the fall. However, he’s made it even clearer with his actions that Willie Taggart is playing an instrumental role in the 4-star recruit’s decision-making process.
If I had to guess, I’d say Isaiah Bolden will be joining the Seminoles defensive backfield with the likes of Asante Samuel Jr, who happens to be another Floridian superstar who looks ready to make his mark on college football.
