College Station, PA – If the first step in winning a national championship is signing one of the best classes in the country then the Nittany Lions are certainly headed in the right direction.  For the first time in school history, the PSU has a top 5 recruiting class with a 4th overall spot placing them just above USC, Miami, and Clemson.

The class of 2018 is stacked with 23 players, that includes two 5-star and sixteen 4-star recruits.  It’s safe to say, that these last few years of productivity has put coach James Franklin in elite company and it’s only a matter of time until we see him going head to head against the likes of Saban or Swinney in the college football playoffs.

To get a glimpse of the types of players coach Franklin landed in this historic 2018 recruiting class we interviewed 4-star wide receiver, Daniel George.  The Maryland native is just one of the many offensive weapons that committed to Penn State in 2018, as he’ll be joining forces with 5-star receiver Justin Shorter, standout hog molly Juice Scruggs and monster tight end Pat Freiermuth.
